A Dehumidifier is an appliance designed to reduce and control the humidity levels in a room or enclosed space. It works by extracting excess moisture from the air, helping to create more comfortable and healthier indoor environment. The Dehumidifier draws in air from the room through a fan and passes it over cooling coils.
The incoming air is cooled as it meets the dehumidifier’s cold coils. The cool surface causes the moisture in the air to condense into water droplets.
The condensed water drips down into a collection tray or tank within the dehumidifier. The collected water can be manually emptied or automatically drained through a hose connection.
After the moisture is removed, the dehumidifier reheats the air using the warm coils before releasing it back into the room. This prevents the room from becoming too cold due to the cooling process.
